The Rotted

Rotted, also called living dead, undead, or zombies, where once people that due to some unknown magic have begun to rot from the inside out. They appear to have little to no inteligance and are generaly hateful and aggressive, however this veries on an indaifual to indavidual basis.

Skill Check Occultism (Int) [14]

Rotted believing in the magic the king in White spoke, allowing rot to form in their brains and the formation of small black opauls in the cranium of the rotted. The rotted are incapable of free thought, tending to only speak things that they have heard uttered by The King in White or his allies. They tend to be aggressive and violent to others, and travel in small pacts or groups normally referred to as a horde. Their unwavering loyalty to [[The King in White]] is not precipitated, and others in the way of white see them as lessers not worthy of respect. They are normally treated poorly, and as a tool to be wielded.

Skill Check Medicine (Wis) [14]

First small black opauls form in the brains of the afflitive, later the skin on the face and extremities begins to dicay. This is then followed by an rise in aggressive behavior, social issolating the victim. If the victim is separated from the spell this process can be slowed or stopped completely.

Skill Check Arcane (Int) [14]

There is no known cure for this corrupting magic. However Psychic magic developed in the central kingdoms have shown promiss in helping victims that have not been fully transformed. This magic focuses on breaking down the black opauls and repairing the brain. Undergoing this treatment is long and difficult and needs an willing victim to undergo the ritural. If this was achieved it is believed that the victim could make a full recovery.
